Another early morning session with the camera. Due to the changing in seasons it wasn’t too early to get out a see another beautiful sunrise. For days I’ve been looking at sunrise times, checking the weather and looking where I can get to that fits in around my day job.
Today this all panned out to pay a quick trip to the top of Penshaw Monument, ok well not to the absolute top as it was too early for the National trust volunteers to be about plus that wasn’t what I was aiming for. My aim was to get a shot of the sunrise through the column of the monument. Do to the slight variance in the angle of the sunrise and column it was off by maybe few degrees. I will hopefully get back in a few days and get the angle right before the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Every Monday I try to enter a post into the Macro Mondays. My entry greatly depends on my free time to get an image and the theme. Today (01/08/2016) the theme is Fill-the-Frame food.
On Saturday I had some spare time so I decided to bake a cake, a pineapple upside-down cake to be precise. I was thinking the cross section on the sponge or the pineapple slice for the macro shot. After a few shots I settled on an image of the Glacé Cherry as the best shot that filled the frame.
The cherry itself as you can probably tell the image was taken of the raw cherries before I added them to the cake tin for cooking.
